These three 9's popped out in my spread this morning and Spirit put an incredibly powerful message on my heart that I just had to share with you.
I just started reading "Ask And It Is Given" (how fitting is it that the quote is on page 9 of the book? ) and in it, they state that the only reason our desires don't exist in our current reality is because our vibration does not coincide with the vibration of our desire. This is deadass the ONLY reason! It's not because we're not working hard enough, or because we don't want it bad enough or because we aren't good/worthy enough. It is simply because our vibration is out of alignment with our desire. Essentially, we're saying one thing, but doing another.
For example, say you really really want a new car. The highest end model that the maker has to offer. It ticks all of your boxes and it would allow you to go places and see more of the world. But all you can think about is how fucked your current car is, or about the fact that you don't have one right now. You're worried about how you'll afford the monthly payments, insurance, and registration. Or maybe you don't think you'll be approved for the car because of your current circumstances.
Because you are the sole creator of your reality, your thoughts directly affect the reality in which you're in. The vibration of lack, worry and doubt (Nine of Swords) does not coincide with the vibration of abundance, gratitude, and appreciation (Nine of Pentacles) that is required to manifest the desire.
Let's do a little exercise. Close your eyes and take a moment to think about that thing you're manifesting right now. Imagine you already have it. Imagine it came to you easily. How do you feel now that you have it? How has your life improved because of it? What does it feel like to have your dream come true?
Going back to the car example, how does it feel to sit in your new car and know that you can easily afford it? How does it feel to drive it off the lot, knowing it's 100% yours? How does it feel to travel in your car? How do the seats feel? What special features does it have? What customizations will you give the car? Who will you drive around with in the car? Where will you go in this new car? How grateful do you feel to be the proud owner of your dream car?
Feels good right? Does it feel better than thinking about not having the car? GOOD! Hold on to that feeling! Because you desire it, you know that you can have it. The more often you consciously gear your thoughts towards that feeling, the more you close the gap of time between desiring it and seeing it brought into fruition.
Sometimes we subconsciously fear our desires because we haven't seen anyone else accomplish them. Nobody we know is walking the path we're on. It feels so specifically unique to us that we fear it's not even a possibility. On the flip side, maybe we desire something that many people (or only certain kinds of people) already have. We compare ourselves to them, and feel like we're not worthy of our desire and count ourselves out before Spirit has a chance to help us bring this in.
Something I do to help me stay in a vibration of abundance is listen to gratitude affirmations. Every morning and every evening, I take time to thank Spirit for all that I have (even if I don't actually have it yet). Before the affirmations start, Jess Sheperd tells us "Appreciating something in advance before it has come to pass is massively creative in nature... The laws of the Universe have no choice but to reflect that back to you in the form of a physical manifestation". Jasmine Danielle, host of the Black Girl Experience Podcast, also has an episode dedicated to the energy of 999, and what it means and looks like to align yourself with the Divine energy of your desires.
Remember, because you want it, you can have it! It is already yours. It exists on a timeline you haven't met yet. Your only requirement now is to align your vibrational energy to match your desire, and it shall be yours. Ask, and it shall be given.
